I left a community I had been part of for 11 years, 2 years ago. I mainly left due to two people who were in charge (fairly new).
I was informed that they stepped down from their position of power and I was asked if I wanted to come back. I did. Me and several other people did, and we got invited back.
Reaction from these two people, who I know hate me, was to leave. And now I feel bad because that wasn't my intent.
I am feeling all the bad feelings I felt before I left, just rushing back.
@maloki not your fault in the slightest... They left because THEY hated YOU, not the other way around. Let go! :)
@Antanicus yeah, I've kind of let go of a lot of the anger and resentment I used to have for them.
But it felt nice to join back in yesterday, and feel like we got our community back. I want the only one who'd been pushed out.
@maloki @Antanicus I understand that a lot of this is #jerkbrain, but for what it's worth, I agree with Antanicus: they can own their decisions to leave.
